Jerry Johnson — Founder & President
Jerry Johnson is a retired U.S. Naval Officer with 30 years of distinguished service, including nine years enlisted before commissioning. As Founder and President of Operation IMPACT, he brings decades of leadership, discipline, and community commitment to the organization. Jerry is dedicated to empowering youth, strengthening families, and building pathways that support long-term success for justice‑involved young people.
Dr. Michelle Joachim‑Brathwaite — Executive Director
Dr. Michelle Joachim‑Brathwaite leads the daily operations of Operation IMPACT with a deep passion for youth development and community advancement. Based in Suffolk, Virginia, she oversees program delivery, partnerships, and organizational strategy. Her leadership ensures that every participant receives structured support, mentorship, and opportunities for growth.
Jerrika Anderson Edwards — Secretary
Jerrika Anderson Edwards serves as Secretary of the Board of Directors, bringing strong administrative expertise and nonprofit governance experience. She supports board coordination, documentation, and organizational structure, ensuring that Operation IMPACT maintains clarity, accountability, and operational excellence.
